Shopping is a three channel DVD installation, based on a supermarket
trolley dash organised by Take a Break Magazine during October
1999. The competition which took place in Safeways of Loughton,
Essex was documented on video and focused specifically on
the action taking place in three adjacent aisles. It is these
three recordings that form the basis of the installation where
the trolley dash is repeatedly replayed into the gallery as
a large scale video triptych.
