hi guys,

Hope the sleeping and eating is doing you well. i've just been to church and enjoyed immersion in that odd mix of cultures that it is. The internet was up until i left at 9:45 am but down when i returned at 12:00pm, which is a little uncharacteristic.

We re-powered the router and it has come back up. Justin is poised to help out further and Marc is also enthusiastic to get to the bottom of it - but it hasn't failed at the right time yet. i have noticed that the quality of the internet connection itself degrades gradually before the point when it fails altogether - pinging google.com gives 0% dropped packets during the morning when everything is good, and up to about 4% dropped packets in the afternoon, just before it fails. I wonder if it's temperature related - today has been particularly hot and it's
the first day it's gone offline before 1 for some time. anyway. we're on to
it over here, that's all that you need to know enjoy.

cheers -e

Meanwhile and back in August 5th, we find our nearest laundromat and get busy with our washing. It's the glamourous life of the artist.
